DARK ASPECTS OF INDIAN REPUBLIC

On 60th republic day after analyzing economical, political and social conditions of the nation I don't see a very exciting image of Indian republic. although a golden image of nation's economy is presented by high development rate, and by increasing pile of foreign currency, but the other side of the image is also not less scary, terrorism, unemployment, increasing inequality, regional differences among people turning into violence and uncontrolled aggression behind the desires of countrymen is creating an explosive situation. in last 15 years lakhs of farmers and thousands of weavers have committed suicide because of their poor economic condition. number of unsatisfied extremist groups are increasing in Jammu-Kashmir, eastern states including Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, this is a serious threat to India's unity and integrity, and in coming years this is going to be a huge challenge in front of our nation, common man is struggling with unemployment, corruption and inflation, today common man is disappointed and helpless. But all this doesn't mean that nation is not developing or progressing, but benefits of the wealth produced by development is not reaching the common man, 1/4th of the population is still below poverty line, and world bank estimates that one third of the global poor resides in India, more than ten crores of people are looking for jobs, and what else could be worse than people of different states clashing with each other for the jobs, today number of naxal affected states have reached to 13 which was initially 3 in number, and initially only one state was suffering of terrorism and today entire nation is a victim of terrorism, in current political scenario every party lacks direction in leadership, so how can they give a direction to their party workers, condition is so worse that our MP's accepts money to ask question in parliament and entire nation watches them accepting bribe on television, I believe its only possible in our country that a politician roams freely with pride despite of several allegations of corruption and criminal cases, and they defend themselves by saying that this is opposition's conspiracy against them, any plan, program or any government unit which is responsible for welfare of people is completely corrupt from top to bottom, if everything continues like as it is going on then we can clearly imagine what our future is. Our agriculture is in danger, according to the report of U.N out of 177 members India holds 126th place, in the poverty list of 102 developing countries India holds 55th position and in adult literacy rate India is on 98th position, our position is not far ahead of the poor countries attached to the Sahara desert, will our government and politicians will be able to bring a change in these conditions ? if we consider the approach of solution of any problem like electricity, water, health , education or any problem related to the people we can see number of failures of our government. Our government has been really busy in singing songs of their achievements but they hardly care about those 35 crore people living below poverty line,10 crore unemployed people, 40 crore illiterates, 5crore child labors and crores of handicapped peoples, biggest thing to worry is those who are running the government they are not at all concerned of these problems, 3/4th portion of our national budget is being spent on those useless bureaucrats who are nothing more then a burden on the nation. Condition of our judiciary is so pathetic that its not able to provide justice to common man who keeps on running to the court for years, number of huge scams take place every year and our government just acts as a spectator and those who are culprits and responsible never get punished, I still think that will our government ever be able to provide food, security, health, justice, employment, and a proper structure of fundamental facilities to common men.

FOUNDATION OF SELF DEFENSE

Today almost every country around the globe is affected by terrorism, and I believe that no country is 100% safe from terrorism whether its USA ,UK or any other nation like India, but most of those countries who have seen the atrocious face of terrorism have made themselves safe to quite an extent , but unfortunately condition of India is much worse then others, because it has a neighbouring country who has connections direct or indirectly to every four incidents of terrorism out of five. Most of the roots of terrorism are in Pakistan, this has been stated by British PM Gorden Brown while he was on a visit to India. India seems helpless because neither India can change its attitude towards Pakistan nor India can stop the aid given to terrorism from Pak's side. At this point of time India needs an extensive and organized plan to strengthened itself on outer and internal front, to protect itself from outer and internal threats,the biggest emphasis should be laid on the borders to make sure that they cannot be infiltrated,on this aspect India can take the example of America and Israel,I agree that this is very expensive thing to do, but

• doesn't India invest a huge sum to provide latest weapons to its soldiers

• doesn't India always deploy large number of soldiers on LOC in Kashmir

If once India spends this huge amount to protect its borders then further its defence expenditure could come down to quite an extent, India will have to apply this strategy to not only on Pakistan border, but also on Bangladesh and Nepal border, since India is surrounded by sea from three sides Navy and Coastguard design should be prepared in such a way that no one could infiltrate through sea route. Intelligence agencies are the strong, powerful and important part of any nations defence which not only collects the information, but also should always be prepared to take appropriate action according to the situation. If India would have learnt from its mistakes that were being committed during Kargil, and would have acted timely on the information provided by intelligence agencies then may be 26/11 wouldn't have taken place and lot of things could have been done to avoid Mumbai attacks, and if India doesn't learn anything from 26/11 and doesn't strengthened itself then attacks like these are really hard to avoid. India needs to take its immigration policy seriously we often hear that lakhs of Bangladeshis have entered illegally in India, they have also arranged themselves Indian Ration card, voter id card and other id cards, those people who have allowed these people to get into India are criminals, but those who deploy them as labors in the greed of cheap labours are also criminals, Bangladesh border is not like other normal borders, then what's the guarantee that people coming from there are not terrorists, and point to be taken is, who arranges fake identity cards for those illegal immigrants, internal security also means that the people responsible for helping those illegal immigrants should be punished. Internal security also means to deal with all sorts of treasonous elements with strict laws and courts must take action against them without delay to set up an example for others. India needs to check its policy of secular and democratic freedom, and seriously reconsider its policies, if democracy gives the freedom of expressing views and pay respect to human rights, then it should also be capable of punishing those who misuse these liberties, freedom doesn't mean freedom of all sorts. When we talk about external strength then it means India needs to strengthen itself internationally, today world powers are becoming more impressive and successful by lobbying, India lacks behind in this aspect from many countries, entire world accepts that terrorists training camps are still running in Pakistan, everybody knows that education in Madarsas is not only restricted to religious knowledge, who doesn't know that Taliban has taken birth from these Madarsas? most of the countries believe that Pakistan is responsible for 26/11 attacks, but Pakistan has been denying this, ignoring what the world believes, and is still in the denial mode, question is why doesn't the international community do something about this ? why USA and UK are still providing funds to Pakistan to fight against terrorism? when its quite clear that where and how these funds are being used by Pakistan,

• has India raised its voice against this ?
• has India opposed this thing?
• has India taken strict measures to stop financial aid to Pakistan?

India needs to carry an intelligent and active approach to reveal the hypocrisy of Pakistan on international level. In America new presidential rule is about to start, but India hasn't made any effort to change the foreign policy of Washington towards Pakistan, India will never get such an opportunity to drag Pakistan to its actual place, India should not pay importance to those people who say that Pakistan government itself has no control over terrorists of their country, if they can't control their men then it has nothing to do with India, its their problem and why should India suffer because of their impotency, conditions are favourable for India that Interpol and U.N Security Council are present for India's help. The ideal meaning of friendship between two neighbouring countries means that both nations should make efforts to maintain peace and prosperity, otherwise one sided ideology of friendship turns into stupidity or weakness.

Neither Forget - Nor Forgive Is Mandatory This Time

Pranab Mukherjee has been using Sort of language which is expected from foreign minister of a great country like India to deal with Pakistan which is a complete failure as a nation, now this is not hidden from anybody that terrorism is a part of Pakistan's national strategy. If Pranab wants to take his threatening to logical extent and secure nation from terrorism, then he and central government will have to give a clear message across the border, that neither can we forget- nor forgive the terror attacks of 26/11. Its only possible if we come out of hesitation and doubts, that has been a sign of our national view point towards Pakistan. Today we need to come out of all sorts of illusions and accept the reality. Although Pakistan was born because of delusive belief that Muslims deserves a separate nation but it took merely 25years to split in two parts,and most of the south Asian experts believe, Pakistan will split in few more parts.

Opposite to alive democracy like India, Pak preferred to be a Islamic nation and we all witnessed its strong political and social impacts. The biggest social impact was that Pakistan almost banished its Hindu population, when Pakistan was formed it had about 25% Hindu population and now it is 1.64%, now coming on to political aspect, lack of actual democracy encouraged pak army to grab the power of nation and maintain its grip on the country, Pak army maintained the environment of war against India, even when there is some political government in pakistan, pak army doesn't mind to go for one sided operations against India which we all have witnessed as Kargil war. Pak army's first attempt to capture Indian land was in October 1947 when they intruded in Jammu and Kashmir, and Jawahar Lal Nehru went to U.N to complain rather then following the advice of top army officers like Field Marshal Kariyappa and General Thimaiyya, U.N suddenly gave the orders of cease fire and in this way India lost an area of about 30,000 sq.miles to Pakistan, Indians not only soon forgot what Pakistan did to us but also forgave them, this suicidal attitude of Indians encouraged Pakistan to attack India, and in 1965 India was attacked although Indian forces pushed the intruders behind, and captured important posts of areas like Haji Peer and Titwal this battle also turned into a war in all aspects ,which ended with the interference of U.N, when things turned to normal Pak's foreign minister zulfikaar Ali Bhutto announced in Security Council that their country will keep on fighting with Indians for thousand years and when Indian representatives showed their objection over this statement Bhutto commented "Indian dogs are going back home". May be it seems unbelievable but its true when Bhutto was abusing us, India lost everything what ever Indian army won in the war of 1965 on the table of Tashkent summit, after that in 1971 when India raised its voice against unlawful activities of Pak's army, then once again we were attacked by Pak and this war changed the map of Asia and and Bangladesh was born as the result of this war, but it also gave India unwanted refugees around 2 crore in number, in the war of 1971 Pakistan was badly defeated, and India not only captured the area of around 5000 sq.miles but also captured 93000 war prisoners, but once again P.M Indira Gandhi returned everything to Pak, in Shimla summit to the very same Bhutto who gave Indians uncountable abuses. Undoubtedly we wouldn't have faced the disgrace of 26/11 if we would have kept on telling our next generations about the words which were used by Bhutto towards Indians. Its absolutely weird that those politicians of our nation compromised with national interests, who used to do intelligent talks when they were in opposition, biggest example we have is of Atal Bihari Vajpayi he strongly opposed the strategy of donating everything won, followed by India after the war of 1965 and 1971 he also criticized the statement of foreign minister Swarn Singh that "Shimla summit is the first step towards peace", on 31st July 1971 in Lok-Sabha Vajpayi said "we have been taking first step since last 25yrs, we took the first step when Nehru and Liyakat Ali Khan met, when Nehru and Ayube Khan met that was also the first step, in Tashkent meeting of Shastri and Ayube Khan was also called first step and now again we are taking first step through Shimla summit." 25yrs later after giving this statement when Vajpayi became P.M of India it was his turn to forget everything and forgive Pakistan, Vajpyi also started to speak the language of Swarn Singh. He went to Pakistan with bus and hugged Nawaz Sharif, and pakistan answered this gesture by Kargil, after some time due to international pressure Vajpyi invited Musharraf to Agra summit, in return Pakistan gifted us with an attack on our Parliament in the short period of 3yrs Pakistan knifed Vajpayi three time in his back. Now once again congress is in the power and as usual is under the impact of NRI's, people among us who are aware and concerned towards the security of nation, need to remind the government that

• If we wouldn't have forgotten that we have lost 30,000 sq.miles to Pak, war of 1965 wouldn't have taken place.
• If we would have shown strong courage in 1965 and refused to bow, Pakistan wouldn't have dared to go for a war in 1971,
• If we wouldn't have lost all the advantage gained after war of 1971, Pakistan wouldn't have had power to perform intrusion in Kargil,
• If we wouldn't have forgotten Kargil, our Parliament wouldn't have been attacked,
• If we wouldn't have forgotten Parliament attack, Mumbai wouldn't have been attacked

Incident of Mumbai has once again provided us an opportunity to show our unity and integrity, but we can't do that unless we give up our attitude of forget and forgive.

Tribute To Another Martyr By Politicians

It hasn't been much time since we heard some ridiculous comments about M.C Sharma by Amar singh, and now once again we heard some disrespectful comments by the chief minister of Kerela about the family of late major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, after the father of major sandeep didn't allowed to let him inside the house, and V. S. Achuthanandan's ego was not able to digest that so he said that "not even a dog would have glanced the house if major Sandeep wouldn't have been a martyr" he also said that he has no regret for whatever he said and he is not going to apologize for that, and advised father of major Sandeep to learn some manners, but how could a father behave properly when cremation rituals are going on in home of his only son and he requests a politician not to pay any visit and still that politician arrives there and send sniffer dogs at the place where rituals of cremation are going on, although later sandeep's father cleared that V. S. Achuthanandan ordered the politicians of his party to pay visit to sandeep's house which was not liked by father of major Sandeep because he didn't wanted anyone to pay any tribute to his son under any sort of pressure.although later C.M of Kerela did apologized under pressure or I should be saying that he licked what he spited under pressure of Prakash Karat and media, these things brings few questions in my mind like

• are we giving proper respect to our heroes?
• is this the right method of paying our tribute to people like major Sandeep ?
• is this the way we are paying them of their favor?
• why can't these politicians keep their cheap activities restricted only to politics ?
• do they have right to insult a family of a martyr like this ?

today after hearing such ridiculous comments I don't feel proud to be an Indian, somebody explain me why should one join defense services when they have to do more work , they are paid less and even after giving their life for their nation people like Amar sing and V. S. Achuthanandan insult them and their family, why these politicians are not punished for that ? I wanted to know what they have done for the nation and the people of nation, our leaders need to understand that they should not play politics on everything, some things are much beyond them or I should be saying that they are too small to open their mouth against national heroes like M.C Sharma and Major Sandeep .

AFTER SHOCK OF WAR SITUATION

Commando operation in Mumbai is over but city hasn't yet recovered from the shock of war situation, and our politicians have started playing the blame game again, and this time once again on the pile of dead bodies of innocent people and our soldiers, It seems they haven't yet learned their lessons and somewhere deep down inside all of us know that neither in the past they have changed nor in the future they are going to change, they have been doing this in the past and will continue to do so in the future as well, these attacks are just another golden opportunity for them to enhance their vote bank and I must say that they really do a commendable job there. Today I feel that why the attack at parliament failed and I really regret that it failed, why our brave men always sacrifice their life for these phony creatures, I am sure they won't learn any lesson unless they themselves pay a price, I want to know that what they have done in these situations, we are the ones paying the price not them, they just simply announce the compensation and condemn the acts this has become a routine ritual for them, they don't give compensation from their pocket, and money can never compensate someones life no matter whatever the amount is.
we saw some huge blunders carried out like :

• why didn't the marine commandos {MARCOS} were called on 26th, you called team of National Security Guards {NSG} from Delhi which took 9 and half hrs to reach there, whereas MARCOS are situated in Mumbai they would have reached there in less than an hour and situation could have been controlled, do the higher authorities forgot that they also have MARCOS this shows that even the CM was unaware of his own resources. I agree that CM was not in the state but what the hell was R.R Patil doing till then ?, CM called home minister Shivraj Patil  at 11:15PM and asked for special forces, commandos were ready to leave at 11:47 PM, but there was no aircraft to carry them, plane was in Chandigarh so it came from there which took this much time.  
• why did the people of ATS and police were not given the proper arms and ammunition in the preliminary stage of operation, when army was about to arrive how could someone deal with terrorists who are carrying AK-47,AK-56,GRENADES,9mm pistol,RDX with the traditional weapons, its just like sending them into a lion cage with a pencil and now they express their sympathy over their death, the fact is its not the bullets of terrorists which killed those brave men it was our respected politicians 
• About three and a half yrs back nine thousand crore rupees were sanctioned to set up a authority to take care of coastal area and responsibility was with home ministry, then why did this dipstick Shivraj Patil didn't do anything ? he didn't even took a single step, was he just staring himself in the mirror with different outfits  ?

• Prime minister addressed the nation and said that "if such acts are repeated then our neighboring countries involved will also have to pay a price", give me a break what does he mean,does he expect such incident to repeat once again, after 9/11 America destroyed entire Afghanistan, and we Indians are still thinking to cross LOC, all of us know that training camps of terrorists are in POK they have been using our own land to produce our enemies, and this thing is also confirmed by the terrorist arrested, he has given complete information that they got their training in POK, they were trained by ISI and Pakistan Navy, grenades used by them were manufactured at Pakistan arms factory and still our politicians are not able to decide to cross POK.
• Sources say that terrorists were planning this attack for last six months they were living in Taj hotel and using their room  as their control room and various people used to visit them daily, and their people visited India several times to gather the information, my simple question is that what our security agencies were doing that time ? were they too busy with Hindu terrorists ? after each and every terrorist attack our PM says that we will strengthened our security agencies but the question is when?
• Now we came to knew that in September RAW informed home ministry that terrorist can come to India by using sea routes IB intercepted a telephone call on November 12th of Let(laskar e tayyaba) and did informed political authorities that there is a threat of attack on five star hotels in Mumbai, and in April terrorist arrested at Rampur in UP gave the information that L-e-t is planing to attack Gateway of India and Oberoi hotel then why the hell these warnings were not taken seriously ?, according to me its not a intelligence failure its the complete failure of our political system or I should be saying its a disaster.

If u remember after Delhi blasts on 17th September in morning home ministry announced that they are going to make a federal agency to fight terrorism, and by the evening they dropped the idea, and PM completely denied going further with this idea, and now they are saying the same thing, why didn't they do it then ? why did they took their steps back ?were they waiting for such incident to take place? India claims to be the fastest growing economy, next superpower, we are the seventh largest country with the third largest standing army in the world with troop strength of 2.5 million and 4th largest airforce in the world, but its very unfortunate that this country is being run by eunuchs, I am sorry to say that but that is the truth, they really are eunuchs who can not take any stand against such terrorists, they prefer to watch the innocent people of country dying  rather than going in for ultimate solution.
This incident has affected the international image of India badly and the people who were watching India as the next super power have started criticizing our system and our approach and now they are reconsidering their verdict, a country which can't protect its pride its dignity and above all its citizen doesn't deserve to be a super power and its all because of our political system, even in this time of crisis our politicians are carrying their ostrich attitude, we don't want the resignation of any minister it doesn't make any difference to us now all we want is the result, in a press conference R.R Patil said " terrorists have planned to kill around 5000 people but we restricted death toll to only 200" and he was very proud and happy at this achievement and that's the pity of this country, there couldn't be anything more disgusting ,ridiculous and pathetic than that.
I wanted to know if these situations would have arised in some other other country like Israel, America, china, Russia or any other how they would have reacted ? may be its hard to answer but there is one thing certain that instead of playing blame games their political parties would have been standing together at this issue not like ours.
America hasn't faced any terrorist attack after 9/11 because they decided to cut the roots of terrorism not the leaves, and as we all can see they did well.
After these attacks on Mumbai India is left with only two options

1. Stay calm ,quite and composed without taking any action against them, just like what India has been doing till now.
2. Second option is cross the LOC and destroy the training camps of terrorists

After the elections in America Obama said that he would enter the Pakistan to destroy the training camps of terrorists if required, It won't be hard for India to convince international community to enter POK, but the question arises is whats going on in the mind of our politicians ? but the bitter fact is it doesn't matter what the nation thinks,only thing what matters and will happen is, what our politicians want, they will have to decide that whether they want to keep on facing such situations, or take a tough step against terrorism. only thing what I understand is that we owe some thing to those soldiers,commandos and peoples who have sacrificed their life, and there couldn't be a better way other than destroying these terrorists and their camps, and that could only be the best tribute we can ever pay to our martyrs.
